Wow... I'm in 9th grade and they're offering to let me take some college classes.

I'm in 9th grade Honors (highest classes and all that crap) and they recently told me I was accepted into A.P. classes for highschool. As if that wasn't enough, they just offered me this:

I'm really into computer programming (right now I'm only good with HTML) and I've been saying how I'd like to learn C or something like that. The A.P. support councellor person invited me to do a program where I go to a nearby college for 5 weeks and take programming classes! I will actually get college credits for it ^_^ I'll stay in a dorm and everything. It will happen during the summer of my 10th - 11th grade year.

So... yeah. I'm excited

In my university class we have a group of grade 12 kids who are in this thing called CTC, where they got near perfect grades in 11, and replaced their elective courses with the grade 12 courses they needed to graduate.

Then for their 12th grade they go to college/university instead, and have ALL of their tuition paid for by the government.

Lucky bastards.

I've got AP credit in English 2, but when I was a freshman my advisor told me that they would use it for English 1. So took English 2 and got an A, and now they're telling me that the advisor never did anything so I've got to take English 1 again as a Junior.

Anyone want to buy some AP credit?

I'm only saying that this isn't too big a deal. At our high school, they have Gifted classes in every course, all of which offer an Advanced Placement course in Grade 11 or 12. Anyone with high enough grades can get into the AP courses, and tons do.

Congratulations on your success, but if everyone made a topic every time something mildly uncommon happened to them, this would be GameFAQs.
