I bought a homemade Kato mask. I paid like fifty bucks for it. It broke. I had to Krazy glue it back together, but that didn't fix how God damn uncomfortable it was.

I bought the microtouch trimmer for $7. It's doesn't even cut, and the guards made no sense, since the blade doesn't even stick out. Now I know why the ads didn't last very long on TV, they're one of the worst products ever.

The best purchase I made was a mystery auction, and I got $9 for spending $1. $8 profit BAYBEEE!

Oh, I've had a lot of good ones, and I'm careful enough that I never have bad ones.

        Transformers:
Victory Saber - $650 still factory sealed. amazingly, not the most I've spent on a transformer. not by a long shot.
        Deszaurus - $180, a downright steal.
        Overlord - $220

        Video game stuff:
Sealed copies of Megaman 1 through 4 - $270. there's no market for this stuff normally, but I think I got them for a fair price. never will open them.
Sealed copy of Rockman - $70. Rockman. for the famicom. still sealed to this day.

          Never bought anything off eBay.

My best purchase on ebay would be:

              Deluxe Terriermon and Renamon plushies.

Terriermon was about $40. Nobody bid on him because he had a spot on his fabric, so I got him as a steal and just washed him when he arrived. Came clean like nothing.

Renamon was around $75 because someone kept trying to snipe me and failed.

Too many to list. I've found some incredible animation art for cheap, as well as video game related items, including rare games and little gems like this:

Dave got Parodious 1&2 and all but one of our import Goemon games (for super famicom) off ebay for somewhat decent prices.

He also got the stupid rob and the stupid virtual boy off ebay... he loves them both, but I still think they suck.

Last thing I bought on eBay was Bangai-O for Dreamcast.

Before that I got Ducktales for NES.

Hmm...the only I bought (that I actually recieved) was a print of a drawing of harley quinn Jason Hall made and signed. It appeared in this picture.

I sold my Final Fantasy Chronicles on ebay, though, and fetched 40 bucks for it.

                          Re: Best/Worst eBay purchases

My best eBay transaction was something I sold.

I had all 4 Miracleman Hardcover Collections (that great Alan Moore comic book series) and needed money.

They were bringing around $50 to $90 each at the time and the rare one (book three) had been spotted bringing $150. This was years ago.

The set brought just over $1,000.

And they were listed seperately, starting at $10 each.

It was just that this one guy wanted them all and bid to win.

                          As for buying...

How about a Signed and Numbered Jack Kirby Oversized Bible Portfolio for $40, or a set of the Vaughn Bode issues of Galaxy Magazine which serialized Sunpot for $10.

eBay paid most of my college tuition and I love 'em. Just steer clear of Paypal!

                          Peace.

                          MOO!

                            Re: Best/Worst eBay purchases

I sold a free t-shirt for $110+ because a lawyer and a doctor started a bidding war about an hour before the auction ended. That, and I talked it up quite a bit.

I also sold a Christmas card that a relative gave me (their company donated to the republican party in Tex-ass) from then Governor Bush and his family. It wasn't even signed by him, but it was only sent to certain people in Tex-ass. I'd been using it as a bookmark in my comics and lost it, when I found it two years later, I sold it to a wealthy Texan for $85.00.

Also, I sold a rare Sanrio plush (that I won from a crane machine for 25 cents) for $65.00.

                            Not too shabby.

Got my Kurzweil K2500 for 1.2 grand. Which is suprisingly a steal.
Got my juno106 for 300$, which is even more of a steal.
