You have to have a starting point and a starting party.
Current Project: Writing the story for my next game. That is all.

That happened to me too. I just made one of the story tellers and it let me get in.

Are we talking about test play here? I know I test-played my game without a storyteller at one point.

I had trouble with this too. Set up something in storyteller and then place it in the game settings screen, along with your starting character(s), what position you want them in, etc. Before playtesting your game though, the most important thing to do is save it to a database from the data menu on the lower right of the main editor screen. After you save your game to a database(you need a lot of memory card space), playtest the game through either the story section or the main rpgmaker3 title screen. Next time you play, load your database first to continue editing your game. Also, to save progress when you're playing your game, create a save point. This save is separate from the database save and can hold a few separate saves. If you load the dear braveheart game, you'll replace the database you're working on, so be sure to save often when you do a lot of work on your game. If you have trouble with dear braveheart, you can use the editor to change anything you want on it, which can make the game easier. If you want to keep your changes to dear braveheart, save it onto a separate database if you have room then select which game you want to play next time.

animefan, please do not resurrect topics that have died nearly two years ago. I know you only have three posts, and are new, so I'll explain it to you. It's generally frowned upon to do what you just did. I know this, because I had a habit of doing it myself because I thought it was funny, but enough people gave me strong advice not to do it that I eventually gave up on it. I think I've not necroposted in nearly a year now...maybe longer.
