Basically, the Nintendo Wi-Fi Conection works like Xbox Live except it's free.

In Mario Kart you can choose to play against friends, random people around the world or in your country , and rivals which sounds like an interesting concept. I won't lose to you!

They also showed the thing that hooks up to your computer for people who don't own a wireless router.

Seriously, their track record for mediocre-to-awful sequels is astounding. And the PSP version looks just as offensive.

I hope a DS version does the original justice.

I don't think they've said anything about price but, it looks like it will be sold separately with some software. Here is the Japanese press release. http://buffalo.melcoinc.co.jp/produc...05/000061.html I don't see any yen symbols.

Nintendo would be smart to pack it in with Mario Kart IMO. They might be taking too much of a loss with a move like that though.

selling it with mario kart is the way to go. if you don't want to play mario kart, you have no business playing a nintendo system.

It's nice to have a portable racing game, especially multiplayer. But it has to be good. I rented NFS Underground 2 on DS, it sucked big time. Just BOOOOORING. But I'm looking forward to Mario Kart.

And yeah, I gotta agree, after Konami Krazy Racers, GBA Mario Kart was a big disappointment.

The USB wi-fi signal is really ****ing clever, coming from someone who would love using PSPs wireless internet but don't have a router. That's a really good idea.

Plus the new FF3 looks pretty hot.

Konami Krazy Racers was awesome but, it was basically a straight up SMK clone and the gameplay felt kind of dated. MKGP feels like something new and I thought turned out to be the better game. I think Intelligent Systems did a great job with it.
