    Moving NPC's Idea

If you made all your NPC's Characters, coulnd't you just "Possess" them long enough to make them the active character, and warp them where you want, and then return control to the player?

I suppose that could do funky things to the screen. Or maybe it's just early.

Apparently you missed the "reusing multiple people" post or was it "Multiple People"?

Anyway I personally tried what your suggesting about a week or so ago and once u warp to the position and have that character leave they return to their original starting point, not where u last were.

Many other ideas went around on how to "reuse people"

The best you could do is have the screen blacken and change the event mode or something to where you want. Like, for example.

Person says, "Are you here to help? Then follow me?"
The screen blackens. A variable is changed, changing the peson's mode to something without a graphic, while a duplicate of that character (or rather, a character that looks like the person you talked to) turns on somewhere else. At this point either the player would have to go to the new location, or the player would be warped to where the person is so that the event can continue.
"What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."

Thats what I do. But the downside to this is that you use up 2 character slots. With the low, low number of 100 slots available, this can use up your data quickly.
Current Project: Writing the story for my next game. That is all.

I have a shortcut, abeit a very poor one. I have a gate connecting two parts of the field map. The character (Thoran in my game), sits between 2 herostones, making the tunnel impassible. After you view a storyteller, you talk to him and he says "Where would you like to go?", and warps you to that part of the dungeon.

          It works.

Not sure if this would work or not, but I had an idea.

Couldn't you set a warp point right next to an NPC, and then have them walk left to right and step onto it and warp to the designated area?

I don't think NPCs activate events and even if they did the warp point would probably warp the player just like the Warp command does.
