On the hottest pizza in the world. Last night. I didn't even notice till hours later. It must've been so hot that it cauterized the wound as well.

Could God create a pizza so hot that it burned his mouth?

Yeah, I figured it's a character from Earthbound, I didn't know which one.

I thought it was a lemon-headed freak.

Haha! Yeah! Now it's not freaky so much as it is hilarious.

You should, but you shouldn't take anyone else's expectations with you. And then you should go read the review at insert credit. IT WILL FREAKEN EXPAND YOUR MOUTH!

I gotta play it too. I've only gotten as far as...Fourson..? Fourtown? Heck, I hardly remember.

But that's because my mouth roof hurts.

highwind

Nah, I'm not gonna turn up the radio.

I don't like listening to the radio on my computer.

What the heck are you talking about Higwind?

And it's Fourside, Magus

I owns it with the oversized box and the instructions that's also a guide.

I played it last night. I beat up 5 moles. Apperently that section of the game is based on the time that Itoi explored a real gold mine with a camera crew.

The Toecutter

Earthbound is a classic. Quite unique in its style and setting, but so totally unbelievable when it comes to content. Given its rarity, I'd say it's worth $60, just so you can play it.

God, I wish I had bought the game when I had a chance.

If I'm bored...maybe I'll buy it this summer.

RPGD

You shan't regret the l33t fun that is dealing with a spoiled fat kid, running around with a teddy bear for protection and abusing little Saturn people (Alright, the latter isn't factual).

Hey Highwind, I'll send you my SNES copy if you promise to send it back when you're done.

I'll take you up on that offer when I have time to play it this summer.

Thank you. :jack1

Indeed. Earthbound brings many fond memories of taming wild animals by beating the crap out of them.

Good times, good times.

'Tis a fine game.

But what's this? Someone I know hates the game?

What could make a man hate such a game as Earthbound?!

Why, reading/posting 500+ emails with the same lewd "Eat some [cuss word] and go to bed." 'hilarious' quotes!

Of course! If someone drove that into the ground even I'd start to hate it!

So, uh, yeah.

Valkysas

I never got into it. I found it boring.

That game burned a great burn into me that would later become my love for SNES RPGs. I'd buy it in a heartbeat if it were rereleased for GBA...

02-03-2005, 10:15 PM
Yeah, High, you may be complainin' about THIS generation of games, but I dunno if Earthbound'll be "your bag".

Earthbound is more akin to Dragon Warrior than FF or Chrono Trigger.

The Toecutter
02-04-2005, 08:06 PM
Yup. Unlike dragon Warrior, it avoids trite cliches that drive me nuts.

I enjoyed Earthbound as a kid a hell of a lot. The only modern-setting RPG... Ever...

Loki
02-04-2005, 08:12 PM
What about the Sailor Moon RPG?

The Toecutter
02-04-2005, 08:26 PM
Never even knew one existed until you brought it up just now. Explain.

Loki
02-04-2005, 08:27 PM
Sorry, Valk. I just Googled "Sailor Moon RPG" and linked the first site that came up. I didn't think to check and see if it had the rom on it.
