    No Start Screen?

Is it just me, or is there no "press start" beggining screen like rpg maker 1 had?

Nope. Only the standard "Start" and "Continue" page. You can make your own, just by using a Background in the begining of the Prologue story teller, and have a large Message displayed saying "Press Start!" or something.
Current Project: Writing the story for my next game. That is all.

People hardly used the title screen in RM1 anyway. Did RM2 have an included title screen function? All I can remember was when people made custom ones.

The RPGM1 title screen wasn't used frequently because most people wanted to show their titles in some other way, or simply didn't feel it was necessary. Not to mention the title screen wasn't real interesting to look at unless you went through the trouble of making a custom title screen graphic.

RPGM2 had no default title screen option, which I didn't like.

I like that RPGM2 didnt have a default one, my Josaigdan title screen is much better than a still picture.

Yeah, RPG Maker 2 had the right idea with title screens. Making one on your own was really easy, and had the potential to be eye catching.

Like Crown of Order is a perfect example we all can fall back on. It was really scenic.

yeah making a custom title screen is way better.

Cool I will have to start making one. I just got it today and havn't touched it yet (to much stuff to do). I also I got the Replay Max Evo. How easy is it to make a custom title screen? That is one of the first things I want to do.

                      Re: No Start Screen?

With RPGM2, I actually made a firly interesting title screen with a spinning sword in back and the title of the game in the foreground.

In RPGM3 you can just work it into the opening storyteller.

                        Re: No Start Screen?

Yeah in RPGM3 just make a new story in story teller
and just make it the background, what pictures you want to see.
And put some music and text.

It's realy easy. I made mine Fade in and then the name of the game is there
and a great sword spinning on the back.

Making custom title screens is fun!!!
