I am very sorry if I put this in the wrong place. I thinking of buying rpg maker 3 witch I am of course. I was wondering in rpg maker 3. Can you make your own animation? Kind of like fighter maker animation? I keep thinking of a cool combo animation move if you can, that will rule!!!

You can't make your own animations, you get what the game gives you, there's some nice selections though, you'll see 'em when you head to sample town and talk to the clown..

How many animations can you chose? Is there more animation actions to chose from than rpg maker 2?

five attacks, two item/magic, and one throw. outside of battles it's pretty much just walk and run, from what i've seen so far.

NPCs can have an assload (technical term, I know) of animations. Your main character just kinda stands there looking dumb as a brick, from what I can tell (I actually haven't bothered to look up whether you can animate your hero or not, haven't needed to yet)

The main character has the greatest animation ever....HE/SHE CAN TURL!!

One more thing. I herd you can connect your psp for something in rpg maker 3, is this true?

i just figured out about 3 days ago that when in the Ability editor, if the character animation is 'throw', the vfx is pebble/rock/dynamite/bomb/knife/shuriken and i think theres one more...

just curious if anyone else knew of this, as i was hoping that I could make a 'throwing' fireball, but it showed that list instead of the fireballs/skulls/etc.

yeah, that would have been cool but it's not possible. i was however able to make a skill where the guy looks like he's exhaling fire, lol
easiest one in the world too.

you can get a program for the psp that allows you to connect it to the PS2 to transfer saves and files and stuff.

Its what i plan on using to move my saves over to the PC so i can upload my game.

you have to buy it, along with the connector cable that allows you to connect the PSP and PS2, i think it is $14.99, and there was a post in the forums about it a week or two ago, so you may want to search. I cant remember what the item is called.

Thanks for the info. And I finaly got rpg maker 3 today, I got a lot to learn on it.
