    Stringing Events ??? HELP

I made it to where when my character touches an object it triggers a boss battle or story teller ...BUT i was wondering if there is a way to make it so it triggers a storyteller and then goes directly into a battle then when the battles over back to another storyteller....three events together. It seemed possible with the 4 event modes but when i was messing around i couldnt get them to work.Any body help ?

Hmmm...well, that should be pretty simple to do. And all ya need is two modes. One the first mode your first command upon examining the object should be to activate the appropriate storyteller scene (look around, there's a command for that.) Then do the command for the battle. Set another command for another storyteller under the win result of the battle. Then put in an add mode command so it goes to the 2nd mode, which is empty. From then on all those events won't activate again.

      Think that should work.

ARGH YOU CAN STRING MULTIPLE EVENTS IN A SINGLE MODE!!!

Forgive my yelling, but this isn't exactly MIND BLOWING INFORMATION. You can string as many properties into a single event mode as you want until you hit a warp or end event (both of which automatically end the event). Everything you string in the event, whether it's a battle or a storyteller, party gains experience, variable is added, message is displayed, etc. will ALWAYS follow sequential order until the map changes or the event is forced to end.

Note: Keep in mind that if you add anything to the party (like money or experience), they won't recieve it until after the event ends or unless you change a mode. That's the ONLY time you actually need to change a mode if you're stringing multiple battles and storytellers together.

I just woke up so I'm still pretty cranky.

Not as many as you want, there's a limit of 50 lines.

So add another Mode to the event, make sure there is nothing happening in that event's mode and then just Modify it to that event number. Turn the display off also. It dissapears.
