How to lake even with ground?

I was messing in field creator and made some lakes but they are all down deep in a crater, how do I make level wit ground? Thanks in advance.

Setting water terrain automatically puts it near to or at the lowest level of terrain. Any water you're going to have in the game is going to be at ground level, not high up. Believe me, I wanted to make streams coming out of mountains and stuff, but that's not happening.

To fix it, you're going to have to lower your terrain if you want to be able to have it near where you're walking.

That or use smooth around the rivers and that will cause the land to lower to the river.
