    Confirmed, working PSP Downgrader!

All of you 1.5x and 2.0 users yearning for homebrew, your ship has come in.

I've tested this myself by upgrading a 1.5 PSP to 2.0 and running the downgrader. At 99% you will get an error, that's OK, reboot it. When you boot up again, you'll get an error, reboot it. The third time is disco, baby.

    P.S

For those that don't believe me.

Why would I want to downgrade?

This is also presuming I owned a PSP.

people downgrade so they can play what they call "homebrew" software, which is really their cover-word for "yay! piracy!"

Most homebrew isn't, there are some awesome homebrew games for the PSP right now.

I saw a PSP running a Super Mario Bros. 3 emulator today. Part of me was "AWESOME!" but then the other part of me reached into my pocket and pulled out my GBA with Super Mario Advance 4 in it.

            BOLLOCKS.

              Piracy knows no bounds.
              ...and that's why.

Do I need to compile a list of homebrew games that are good to get people to believe that this isn't about piracy?

Actually, the crack was intended for non-piracy homebrew apps. The person who cracked 2.0 recently still stresses that he is against it.

Brew is a word that is not used enough in the vernacular.
