How do you make animated GIFs? (and much more)

It used to be the easiest thing in the world before I switched to this damn PowerBook.

I have Graphics Convertor. I have Final Cut Pro HD. I can't do nothing with either of them.

It was SO EASY with Premiere. Why couldn't it be the same?

I'm still trying to learn how to animate, too, sadly

'Cause then I'd have to GET Premiere for Mac. I shouldn't have to. I have the most powerful editing equipment in the business, but I have to jump through hoops to do ANYTHING.

I'm mostly just hoping that Squirtle can give me a link or something.

Since I got some bad rep for posting that picture, I would like to apologize for getting off topic...

I dont know who you are, but I sincerely apologize for basterdizing the thread.

So, in the spirit of good community-ism, will do my best to contribute rather than distract.

Since I personaly do not know how to make animated gifs, I bring tutorials.

Well, I use ImageReady, which comes with Photoshop.

There are still dozens of free gif makers...

                This one looks good.

                ...Woo!

                    Powerboooook.

But yeah, if you're looking for OS X software, just check Versiontracker.com.

Although Apple is usually displaying some pretty nice programs.

How the hell do I get OS Classic to work?

It's not DOING anything. I launch it and the window comes up, and the bar never goes past that little sliver. No error message, just a total lack of anything happening.

Expand the arrow, then see what it's doing.

I am a avid user of Flash MX, so that is usually how I make animated gifs.
