So, I was deciding what I should do with RPGM2, as soon as I'm done with my RPGM1 games. Although I have had one game in the making for awhile, it will not be done anytime soon (well, maybe...). It is an FPS, and of course I got an idea for a different FPS game, and I think it should be my first game.
It works similar to the old Atari games where you stand in a line, facing one direction, shooting an onslaught of oncoming enemies. The point: keep them from getting past you. Whats different about my game? You are underwater, battling intelligent sharks! I dub this game... Shark Hunter 3D! More information to come in my forum later.
Any comments, suggestions, questions? :lol

Normally I can't stand shooter games, but since this one is done with my favorite creation tool, and you are not shooting humans, I'll definitely check it out.
I have a huge list of other peoples' games to get through first (I really do owe these people feedback... they played my stuff and gave feedback), but I'll put it in the pile when it comes out.
Speaking of which, how far along do you think you are?
If you can release some screenshots or mpg files that always helps generate interest (Shameless Plug: Like I did HERE (http://www.pavilionboards.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2835&highlight=screenshots)).
Is there more to it than just shooting fishies? Not that it would be bad if not. Consider Tetris as an example (and check out Jugem's RPGM2 clone of it... it's Hoopy). I mean is there any kind of story through which you advance by killing fish?
Good Luck with it.
Peace.

first person shooter... killing onslaught of sharks comming at you...
I'll say that it has sparked some interest, and it sounds like a neat idea, but if just running from left to right killing sharks is it, I'd think it'd get repetive. then again, i haven't played a game with an idea similar to it.

This game I have barely started: its my other FPS that I have been working on. Its a Survival Horror though, and in that one you do not shoot people either. You fight monsters and all that, but I'm using discretion in what I put into the game.
And, SH3D will have a story and scenes and such. I was planning on having the map just be one big ocean, and you pick where you start the levels. Sort of an RPG/Adventure type of thing, but you have to find the places where the levels take place.
I have absolutely no way of taking screenshots, and I won't get a maxdrive for a while (December at the earliest). Plus I'm not an expert with RPGM2, so the way I'm doing this game is done in a simplified way, for practice.
