How to fight NPCs

I was wondering how 2 fight against NPCs. Do I somehow hav to register them as monsters bcuz i couldn't figure this 1 out. How do u make the characters able to be fought against?

Make a Class for the enemy NPCs, make the People for the NPCs, register the Class's in the People data, and in the event that you want them to fight you, go Control>Battle(characters)

YOu can use Character Battle to fight NPCs but you don't get any exp for it.

You can add exp to your character in the event.
