OK, While the currect BGMs in the game are ok, I think it is a step back from RPGMaker1. Because even in 1, you could slow or increase the tempo, or adjust the sound so that even the same BGMs could sound different from each other. On 3, doesn't seem there is even an option.

Re: BGMs
maybe they will get it right in 4?
serously though, the bigger a game style you get (3d as upose to 2d) the less costumability you will recive becuase it increases drasticly the complexity of the coading and the amount of space everything takes up - also the amount of time it takes to achive it all. we wont ever see, or atleast not for a while, an rpg maker with as many loopholes and customability plus the ease of idiot proof design, as the origonal rpg maker for ps1 had.
then again, beating the system comes with time so we could very well find holes and squeekby ideas to circumvent the walls the game seams to have. give this game time and it might pull through.

Re: BGMs
And am I the only one bothered by the inability to change (or even mute) the Background Music while editing.
That same old melody is getting annoying.
Please tell me there is a way to do something about this (besides adjusting the volume constantly... I use a different monitor for gaming than TV and there's no remote for it).
Peace.

Re: BGMs
When you load your game go into the options menu on the main page and there, in one handy little area, is the ability to modify what music plays in the background.Originally posted by RodakAnd am I the only one bothered by the inability to change (or even mute) the Background Music while editing.

Re: BGMs
It was the first thing I looked for, but gave up too quickly and somehow convinced myself it could not be changed.
I hate missing obvious crap like that.
Fortunately I watch Bugs Bunny or listen to Jazz, and Classical music for inspiration (check out wrti.org... Classical all day and Jazz all night, they're a local college radio station here where I live) so it took this long to drive me mad enough to post about it.
But now I'm glad I asked.
Those little things can really effect things so disproportionately it is not funny.
So, Thanks gain!
Peace.

Re: BGMs
Not to mention you can get any music you want for it too. As for RPGM3, the only quarrel I have with the BGM is the battle music. I just wish they added more. Hell, I wish they added more to the entire list, when nearly a third is "Out Doors Sounds".Originally posted by cloudfrickinstrifei checked out some of the songs for xp and i was pleasantly surprised.. not to mention there are 64Current Project: Writing the story for my next game. That is all.
