104 degrees - what the hell?

Tex-ass is hot. We're used to it. But this kind of heat is almost unbearable, especially when I walk home in it.

It's 104 degrees right now, might get hotter by the end of the afternoon.

This is the end of september, right?

I use both temperature scales all the time.

But 104 degrees is way too hot.

yeah, it's been several degrees over record temps for the last few days and none with highs below 100. i even saw a sign that said 111 on sunday. it's not horrible but it's just the wrong time for it. it was such a nice summer too.

all i can say is if this was happening in new york, it'd be national news. non-stop coverage about the killer heat-wave. and i just mean if it was hotter than normal there. like, 90 or something. cnn emergency news break

I always joke that in Connecticut, they declare a state-wide emergency and send the kids home from school if it gets into the high 80's.
