104 degrees - what the hell?

Tex-ass is hot. We're used to it. But this kind of heat is almost unbearable, especially when I walk home in it.

It's 104 degrees right now, might get hotter by the end of the afternoon.

This is the end of september, right?

    My god, Springfield...

      104 degrees fahrenheit = 40 degrees celsius.

      104 sounds better than 40.

I use both temperature scales all the time.

But 104 degrees is way too hot.

        You should complain.

        Blame somebody.

It won't help, but you should.

And yes, this is indeed the end of September. I checked my star charts.

Just do all the usual things (keep the house dark, drink water and juice, meditate, go mad, regain your senses, and repeat).

New Jersey may be The Armpit of The United States, but we get four seasons.

        Sometimes.

        I know!!

        It's global warming!!

        Blame George Bush!

        Blame his Oil Cronies!

        Blame Saudi Arabia!

Find a Goat and Scape it!

That always makes me feel better.

        Peace.

        MOO!

yeah, it's been several degrees over record temps for the last few days and none with highs below 100. i even saw a sign that said 111 on sunday. it's not horrible but it's just the wrong time for it. it was such a nice summer too.

I'd hate to be you, Nixon.

I can deal with like, -20 fine, but 40? Holy ****.

I couldn't handle that heat either. Hell, I've been known to sweat like hell even in the 80s.

all i can say is if this was happening in new york, it'd be national news. non-stop coverage about the killer heat-wave. and i just mean if it was hotter than normal there. like, 90 or something. cnn emergency news break

half the time the weather channel guy plants his fat butt over texas anyway. damn them all.

Wow, if you add Texas summer and Canada's winter temperatures together you get somewhere I wouldn't mind living.

                        Something to think about, people.

I always joke that in Connecticut, they declare a state-wide emergency and send the kids home from school if it gets into the high 80's.

And Redneck, I'd like to find that place. Failing that, I'll move to Colorado.
