    hey me again can i make like merchants to sell stuff to my chars and if you can, will someone tell me how

    Two ways, easy way and hard way.
    Easy way: Make a town. Put in a building, choose shop. Press R1, make the merchant. Press R1 again, select the item. Viola.
    Harder way: Use multiple choice events.
    I just realized that events/branches can't be conditioned on money... so this would only work for free items, or for a seperate currency/commodity system using variables. Like for cooking or something, if you use a variable to represent your ingredients... well, I'm rambling 'cause I haven't done this yet... for now, stick to the first way, lol.

      I know about the first option, my question is could we change the merchant other than humans. What I mean could we have like a monster be the store owner and the merchant or do I need to do an event for this one.

        monsters can never be used outside of battle.

        but if you really want to have a non-human be the store owner, stick a frog (or any other animal) behind the counter. you can only have humans as the one doing the buying and selling, but through conversation and the presence of a giant frog behind the counter, you can make it appear that a frog owns the store, and just isnt doing any work.
