So, I picked it up this morning and I think it's pretty cool. Basically, it plays a lot like Spider-Man 2. I don't remember if it was SM The movie 1 or 2 in which you could swing from thin air but, now you have to swing from a building or from a tree or something. Also it seems like you gain moves and health as you progress through the game instead of starting off with every move. Also, certain parts of the city are not available right away and there aren't as many stupid people in trouble asking you to do the same thing over and over.
The graphics are pretty nice too and the cutscenes are like, half 2D stills and half 3D with the characters popping out of the comic book panels. It's pretty cool and adds a lot to the comic book style presentation.
I'm really liking the story too. Already I've seen cameos from the Human Torch and Wolverine. Venom gets into a bar fight with Wolverine after throwing Wolvies bike through a window.
The way the switching from Venom to Spidey works is that you just start playing as the other when one's section is done. At least right now. Hopefully you can choose later 'cause I don't feel like I'm getting enough Venom playing time.
