I have both a Sharkport (.sps file type) and PSP (.max file type). How are we going to share our games?

Re: ...so how are we sharing?
Well kire, I guess I never talked to you about how the pavilion functions nowadays.
The submission forum allows for the direct upload of games and demos to the pavilion, as long as they're in a zip file. once a week, these games are taken from the submission forum and added to the main listing on the site itself. (although I've been behind with the RPG Maker coverage, a real update is coming tomorrow). the listing links to the original submission topic the user created (which is moved out of the public forum system), which is equivalent to the individual pages the pavilion used to have for games, and can contain story information, character information, and screenshots. people can reply to these topics with their reviews and thoughts about the game after they've played it.
To get around all the different devices people use, the pavilion has a save converter available for download in the tools section, that will change sps/xps/max files to whatever the user needs.
There are a lot of different devices used, but the pavilion only supports those that can save in the above 3 file types, which are:
Shark Port
X Port
Max Drive (made by datel, the .max format is also used by their PSP file transfer device)
of the three, I'd say the Max Drive type of system is the best, since you dont have to connect your computer to your PS2, and can instead just connext the max drive/psp to your console, and then detach it and connect it to your computer.Last edited by Valkysas; 09-23-2005, 01:01 PM.

Re: ...so how are we sharing?
Okay, thanks to Valk, I knew where to search. I did a quick search at ebgames.com and found this:
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/256437.asp
I had NO IDEA that you could backup ps2 saves on your umd but with this I can do just that and then switch the saves onto my computer. This saves me about $15 because the max drive memory card is rarely carried by store owners and costs extra. Time to whip out my psp early. I was going to dust it off in two weeks for the release of popolocrois.
Agetec is really outdoing themselves. From what I heard the translation of popo is amazing (and the game itself looks very charming). I also can't wait for Wild Arms Alter Code F... whenever that decides to stop being delayed.
