The amount of experience to level up?

Does anyone know how much experience it takes to level? I know you can set the rate of leveling progression, but I can't find an exact number and I want to make sure my experience is balanced.

What I did in RPGM1 was create a few random characters, one at L1, another at L2, etc. I put them starting in a place where nothing happens, and checked their levels. It then said the L1 character had 0 XP, the L2 character had 10 XP, the L3 character had 25 XP, etc. So of course, it took 10 XP to get to L2, and 15 more XP to reach L3. I assume that RPGM3 shows how much XP each character has, so you should try that.
