    USPS > FedEx

I hate FedEx. With a passion.

You see, I was getting a package in 2 days. Seems like it was sorted early, and it was headed to my door this afternoon. But it got put back on hold, because it wasn't supposed to be delivered today. WTF? Does it really matter? People probably wait every waking hour to receive it anyway. What's so wrong about an early delivery? I know if it was sent via USPS, they'd deliver the package as soon as it's out there, no matter what. They're less expensive too.

    *loves early media mail deliveries*

    WHY MUST THEY DO THAT!?

For me, at least, fedex is better about getting your item to you in one piece.

The USPS has seriously ****ed up several of my packages because of lousy shipping practices. One of my boxes had obviously been run over by the mail truck. I could see several different sets of tread marks on the back of the crushed box.

One time I got a letter from a friend that was stained with black ink, torn in half, AND run over by the truck. They put it in a little plastic baggie with a note printed on the bag saying "we're sorry, but your item was damaged in the mail."

That never happened to me, and I always use USPS for shipping and if I can, receiving items. I feel sorry for you though, that seems like terrible handling.

I have to use USPS most of the time, especially for international mail. So they have more chances to screw things up.

Usually, the postal service is alright.
