    Rpg Maker 3 freezing question

    Everytime I try to reset my PS2 with RPG Maker 3 playing it freezes and I have to turn it off from the back, then turn it back on just to switch games.
    It gets annoying. I was just wandering if anyone else has had this problem.

    I don't know if it is because I have an older PS2 or maybe because I have an HDD. It may not be related to either. I don't know.

    I wish I could find away to avoid this though. (sigh)

    whoah...that's not good.
    the legends have returned...whenever i can finish these, lol.

      Only freezing problem I've had with it was in the sample game...when I tried to fight the butler guy, it froze up while loading. I use a newer PS2, btw.

        I figured out what the problem was. It indeed has something to do with my HDD. I removed my HDD from my PS2 and no freezing. Kinda sucks that I have to remove it each time I use RPG Maker 3 though.

          Wow, so the HDD really doesn't do much anyway?

          Now I don't feel so bad that I don't have one.

            yeah. seems like it'd be $100 for nothing. and no, i haven't priced 'em in a long time.
            the legends have returned...whenever i can finish these, lol.

              Sorry to bumb up a somewhat old topic.

              Anyways, I have a HDD too.

              And I was having the same problem. If I pressed the reset button while the game was loaded it would freeze.

              However, it you simple hold the button for a few second, it works fine.

                I've had this same problem too (older PS2), but I dont have the HDD, I DO have the network adapter, I wonder if that has anything to do with it...

                  Oh man. I was hoping that the HDD would be a helpful thing to get for RPG Maker 3. The only reson I wanted it was for RPG Maker 3 but since it makes it freeze and it does not do much anyways I could care less to get one.

                    Yes, do not in any way get the HDD for RPGM3.

                      I can also confirm that it freezes on my 2nd gen PS2 without the HDD. It just takes holding in the power button for a few seconds longer to shut down.
