RPG Maker 3. what do you think?

through all the info and stuff that's been spilled i think this one may be the most confining RPG Maker ever. it'll be atleast tomorrow until i get my copy but i already suspect it'll leave a lot to be desired. what do you guys that already have it think?
the legends have returned...whenever i can finish these, lol.

It is. It's been known for quite some time now. I never expected to make a really good game on it.

Check the "I've got RPGM3" thread for my review--in most ways it is more limiting, but the question is, will the games you make be more less fun to play than those made with other systems? If graphics count for you at all, it gets a plus there; mini games will be rarer w/o randomness (unless I'm stupid an not seeing something). Stories can still be whatever you make them to be, of course. It is a bit more immersive. Battles will probably play out the same as RPGM1, only in 3-D with your chars visible. Well, many people will probably be disappointed, but if you want to enjoy it, I'm sure you can. Try to be optimistic.

EDIT: Sorry. I was in Rodak's thread, and then it brought it here.

It IS limiting I a lot of ways, no question, but good to great games CAN be made with the software. To me, the three major drawbacks are the battle system, which can get fairly tedius fairly quicky; the inability to clone events, and the lack of a random number generator. Wavelength and myself have both used a pseudo random number generator setup fairly extensively, so it's not a huge deal...just more scripting involved.
