yes. and I just updated AVG today.

this thing has been living on my HD for a few days now, and will not go away.

Try running a Trend Micro scan?

If that doesn't work, I'm not sure what would.

Seriously, delete JAVA and reinstall it.

You can either do that or perform a system restore, then try again. When was the last time you set a restore point?

I don't think a system restore will do the trick here, but definately try it before you do anything too drastic.

I once had an extremely nasty virus that added scary wallpaper to my PC and stuff. I performed a system restore, then scanned with AVG and deleted them. My PC worked fine ever since.
