Well, that clinches it.
Microsoft isn't the only company hoping to cash in on the Thanksgiving frenzy this holiday season; Square Enix will release the highly anticipated (and rightfully so!) RPG juggernaut Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King on November 22.
Similar to Konami's strategy with Zone of the Enders and the bundled Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty demo, everybody who picks up a copy of Dragon Quest VIII also nabs themselves a free copy of the first publicly available demo of the other RPG juggernaut coming from the company, Final Fantasy XII.
No one's had a hands-on with an English-speaking playable since last year's E3, which means everyone at 1UP is anticipating the release of Dragon Quest VIII just as much as all of you probably are. If you're not, well, then, you should be!
Sadly, the demo will have to hold us off until the full game's likely late 2006 release in the US.
