does your store have it yet? at the time I'm posting this, no one in the US has seen it at retail (if they have, they havent mentioned it online). just keep calling those stores! the employees at gamestop love it when you scream "RPG MAKER 3" into the phone and hang up, then start dialing again before they can even answer.

I just called EB Games, Gamestop, Target, Best Buy, Media Play, and Game Crazy. None of them have it yet.

I will say this. The guy at Media Play was very helpful. He even knew the RPGMaker series. He told me Media Play might not have even ordered it, and if they did, it might be there tonight or tomorrow. He told me chances are slim though.

Actually, i'm impatient. I think i'm just going to buy it online tonight from EBGames and pay $10 for next day shipping so I can get it tomorrow, or the next day at latest. I don't want to wait the next few days just to find out they won't have it. >.<

The people we annoyed with this game coming out soon have attacked all the trucks. They heard what we said and wanted it but since they looked like they didn't want it, when we annoyed them, they didn't want to let us know.


Anyway I won't have it for two more weeks. This isn't really effecting me on when I get it. But I was still looking forward to listenning to what people thought of it.

Games stores often times seem to start selling games a day after they arrive, at least in my area, I remember having to wait an extra day for Devil May Cry 3 as well. The EB Games near me is getting RPGM3 tomorrow which means I'll have it tomorrow.

Other way around for me. My local EB games store usually sells the games the day of or sometimes as soon as they recieve the shipment (which is usually 2-3 days before the release date). Some games that come on the top of my head that they sold early are:

-Armored Core 3
-Rpg Maker 2
-Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker (they got in trouble for this one)
-Final Fantasy XI
-Final Fantasy X
-Chronicles of Riddick

I remember seeing those in store before the posted release date... AND NOW THEY'RE NOT STOCKING THIS GAME UNTIL TOMORROW URGH!!!!!

This is the first time I've ever tried to buy a game as soon as it came out so this is frustrating the heck out of me as I've never had to deal with it before. Why can't it be like when I went over to Babbage's a month before the slim PS2's were supposed to be out to see when they'd have them and the guy says "We have some already. Wanna buy our last one?" Or like when I bought RM1 and none of the game stores had it so I went to Best Buy to look at DVDs and there it was just sitting on the PS1 shelf.

I picked up RM2 off the shelf. I was debating whether I'd get it or not when I saw GameStop.com had it for $17 and the store locator said my local GameStop had a copy. Then by the time I made up my mind the site said my store didn't have it so I order it online. Not only was the disc in a cardboard holder with no booklet, it didn't even work!! :angry Then I ended up in Babbage's (I think) at the mall a few days later and there it was. Case, manual and all for $17. Plus it actually worked.

But once I get it, I will test the game's function. If it passes, than I may start creating games. If it doesn't, than...well, I will just have to wait till the next RPG Maker game comes out. The first two RPG Maker games stunk, so I hope this one's the charm.
