Component Collection Complete! GM-KHmI Spec Sheet

FINALLY! At long last, I have acquired all of the necessary components for assembling my new PC, GM-KHmI ("Kwagwarroughurgh" for short.) I had gone a few priority changes during the process, one major change would be my opting for a dual-core setup to take advantage of future MS OS Vista's threading features and beef up multitasking. Since I tend to run many high-end apps simultaneously, I believe it was necessary.

In a nutshell, though, I was able to gather enough hardware to Vista-proof my potential desktop. Here's the basic spec sheet:
    • AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+
    • Windows XP Home Edition
    • 2 GB DDR RAM
    • 250GB SATA HDD (Western Digital)
    • Gigabyte 256 MB GeForce 7800 GTX (PCI Express)
    • Sony Multiplatform 16x Dual-Layer DVD Writer
    • Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2
    • Multi-Format Card Reader (Convertable to USB Multi-Card Reader)
    • Asus A8N-SLI Premium (GeForce 4 Chipset)
    • Ultra-Quiet copper Heatsink (Socket 939)
    • Hipper Inaudible 480W PSU
    • Modded "Bootleg" TF Midi-Tower

I'm pretty much set for now with this solid base. I've still got to get the wireless keyboard and mouse, TFT monitor and speakers, but I'm good to go otherwise (I've got an old, squishy PS/2 keyboard to take care of the BIOS setup).

I'll post pictures of it once complete. Any suggestions? Comments? Likewise? Otherwise? Go right ahead.

it's a shame that optimus keyboard is still a few years away, huh?

      You better not be 12.

Also, I read something about some TFT monitors not being compatable with whatever new kind of copy protection movies and such are going to have so you might want to look into that.

Yeah, the TFT monitors currently on the market won't provide the HD output for Vista. I plan on getting a temp TFT for now and make a more serious purchase upon Vista's release.
