I'm about to ban some people from using signatures

I'm seeing super wide images that stretch the screen being used, and some sigs have 4 or 5 different images in them.

I'm not going to PM the people who need to change. no reason to. you're supposed to read the site rules, so I'm not gonna remind anyone of them beyond this post.

if the offending signatures are not changed by monday, I ban those people from using them.

I was about to change mine, because I thought the rules said "650 tall and 300 wide", and its the other way around.

Did you change the rules? When I read them I think it said sig pics were limited to 200 high and didn't limit width. Which seemed strange to me since over-wide posts are more annoying to read than extra tall ones. Regardless, hopefully everyone will follow the rules now. Well, they'll have to or the decision will be made for them.

no, we always limited both. originally it was 650x200, but I bumped the height to 300.

it was also limited before to 1 image, but I guess two is okay, but their combined height cannot be past 300 pixels, and if placed side by side, their combined width cannot be past 650.

also, I dunno what I'm gonna do about serge with this. if I mention it to him, he's gonna scream at me, and challenge me to ban him and all sorts of other BS.

Maybe send him a PM or something... because he probably won't see this topic. Link him to this topic, and perhaps explain what's going on. As long as he knows it's a site thing there shouldn't be too much to discuss.

i've become a victim of signature banning! let me be a lesson to the rest of you.

on a serious note, sorry to anyone it inconvienced. i should've payed closer attention to the rules behind it. i've never been on(or a part of at least) a community message board that allowed all these things. so, i guess i got signature happy. oh well...you live and you learn.

i guess i had too many images at once. i had one where there were 3 animated capcom characters, they were small, but i guess one too many.

then i tried to put one up where i had 2 images(again, not all that large when i look at them, but they probably did go past the "allowable" limit) and they had links to some game sites. i think that's the one that did me in. i guess it was too big, although, i've seen bigger on this site before and still do.

but, i guess valkysas thinks i'm a hindrance to the community by having those. i disagree with the choice, but i'm not him, a moderator or someone who contributes to the site enough. so, what have you.

Yeah but you've forever imprinted the association between Karr and Red XIII in my mind forever. I'm surprised I don't just name him Karr when I replay FF7.
