so far, I have not found any way to do this properly.
Water plays a big role in my game, Legend of Pants. there are underwater dungeons, flooded cities, and you can sneak into certain areas by going through water ways. There's a reason there's so much water everywhere, but I dont feel like giving out spoilers.
problem is, water only exists as an auto-tile. that means one, single tile. if you make it walkable, the characters will be able to walk on water at any time. there's no way to make the edges unwalkable, and the inner areas walkable (I can easily make the characters swim by making new sprites and making them semi-transparent) that I know of. so... HELP?
