Does anyone know of any websites or forums that tell of the upcoming promotions that Gamestop will offer. In my area, Gamestop sporadically has the "buy 2 pre-owned games and get 1 pre-owned game free", and "trade in 3 games for an extra $10 in credit", or "trade in 4 or more used games and recieve an additional 40% in credit". I am guessing it is a corporate decision when these promotions are going to be held. I have about 4 Gamestops in my general area and when one has a particular offer, they all have the same offer.

one would assume gamestop itself would have the info. you seek, but i'm sure you've already been there and picked that place apart.
really, it would probably just be best to call the store and ask if they're having any sales promotions like getting extra store credit for trading in games 'n such.

The Gamestops in my area are currently running:
Trade in 4 or more used games and recieve an additional 40% in credit AND
buy 2 pre-owned games and get 1 pre-owned game free. Tony Hawk Underground Remix (PSP) (with 40% extra) gave me over $30 in game bucks. That's insane! I bought the game for about $33 about 3 months ago.Comment

If you ever do the Game Informer thing, or if you ever pre-order games, then there is an option to include your e-mail address when they ask for your information. You'll get an e-mail whenever they are currently running a new promotion, whether it be a trade-in, or sale promotion, and exculsive coupons.Comment
