The thing about that part with the man that looks like a women. That "season" of episodes containing him are in many peoples opinion the BEST of naruto.

At the end of that season, its so damn sad it actually made some people shed a tear, or cry a it. And now they'll fudge it all up so itll be meaningless, and no emotion at all. :(

I'm not worried. there is absolutely NOTHING that is objectionable in that show, that would have to be changed. Also, it's creator is such a hard-ass about his series randomness that I doubt they'll be allowed to change anything.

I think the ideal BoBoBo dub should have him sound like shaft.

That would rule, Valk. I'm all for the BOBOBOBOBOBOBOBOBOBOBO translation. I have some production art (genga/douga, since it's digitally inked/colored) from that series hanging on my wall! I've only seen one episode, though, so I am missing out. I'm trying to get ahold of more, but it's hard to find.

Magus- the Naruto manga is one of the most beautifully illustrated mangas I've seen since AKIRA.

Kishimoto's anatomy work is incredible, his character designs/costume designs are awesome, and the fight scenes are usually top-notch. The backgrounds are very detailed and lovely to stare at, and they compliment the characters/mood of the story very well. He is very inventive with the ninjas and their wacky abilities/skills, and it's always fun to see what tricks will be used next.

The story is a little slow after Naruto's origin is explaned, but it picks up fairly quickly after that, when they travel to the land of the waves/mist. I am only up to the second part of the Chunin exam, but I will continue to read it as long as it's published.

I saw a five page preview in the "shonen jump" promo issue, and was sold right then and there. I put up with crappy Yu-Gi-Oh cover art and get odd stares from the clerks every month when I buy Shonen Jump, but I can't stop reading Naruto.

Thankfully, they have released most of it in graphic novel form, although the graphic novels are in a smaller format that doesn't do the art as much justice.

Still, you might be able to find the first one and give it a look.

The US manga is probably a preview of the crap names they'll come up with for the dub. I want to say, go out there and support the US manga, but the fansubs are so much better. Buy the graphic novels and read the fansub. :)

I really hate the changing of "No Jutsu" to technique. Shadow Replication Technique just doesn't sound as cool as Kage Bunshin No Jutsu. It's like changing Shoryuken to Flying Dragon Fist. And I guess US anime watchers will totally miss out on the whole "Dattebayo" thing which I find hilarious, but I guess there's no way around that unless they show subs on tv.

I know they're going to butcher the show. Naruto is basically a kids show in Japan, but all the blood and killing would get it a mature audiences rating here. I don't think they'll pass up the opportunity to cash in on videogames, toys, and clothing in NA to make the current fans happy by keeping the content untouched and putting it on Adult Swim or something.

In the first chapter, Naruto refers to the guy that attacks Iruka (forget his name) as a "d!ck" and sexy No Jitsu is still there in ALL its glory. So the manga isn't as bad as you're making it sound >_<.

I didn't say anything about the content of the US manga. I'm just talking about the names of the moves. For example Sexy No Jutsu is called "Ninja Centerfold" and Harem no jutsu is called Ninja Harem. There was no "Ninja" in the original names.

He doesn't have a sharingan like Itachi. Kakashi only has the three dots, but Itachi has more like a three sided ninja star. Still, kakashi was able to get the third dot on his own somehow that hasn't been explained.
