    Help with actor tabs.

    Like I've said in various topics the right three graphs are cut off in the actor tab of the database. I've got max resolution and I've tried downloading it again.

    That Marcus guy said to make sure my videocard drivers and directX drivers are up to date. But I'm braindead when it comes to stuff like that. I bought my computer from dell so my vidcard is going to be stock. I know I know, I've sinned by buying from dell.

    And download the latest drivers for directx (should be 9.0c). If that doesn't fix the problem, then go to your control panel >> System >> Hardware >> Device Manager. Double click on display adaptor and it should tell you what kind of video card you have. From there, double click on the card to find out the provider's name and do a search on google for their drivers and download them. If all of that doesn't work, then I'll try my best to find a resolution fix because I don't have any problems with the size of the editor even when my resolution is 800x600.

      What order did you install the program and then the RTP? I remember back when i first used 2k(before i know it was illegal), you have to install the program first then the RTP, otherwise it would cause glitches and stuff. Maybe try reinsalling and make sure you install XP and then the RTP.

      It cant hurt to try.

      i changed the resolution of my computer, and i was still able to get it to work, now youwould have to resize the program window, and then move it, but thats all. not sure if that helps either.

          well, i lowered my resolution to 800x600(or 1024x768 cant remember), and parts did not show up on screen, found an edge of the program, and resized the window(like you would any normal windows program window by click and drag), and was able to resize it where i could see everything, and everything should center itself on the screen, but i dont know exactly what the problem is, so i dont have any way of telling for sure.

          Can you take a screenshot of it?

            I'm kinda ashamed to admit it but I somehow deleted MS Paint so I can't do a print screen.

            And as far as resizing the window(are you talking the database window or the rmxp window) the one for the database window won't let me resize it.

              as said before, its a problem with RPG Maker XP itself. there is a fix available for it, I'd suggest looking around/asking at rmxp.net

              it only screws on on a few computers, which is why not everyone here is having that problem.

                If anybody finds the fix, please point it out here for anybody else that might have the problem. I don't know if I'll have the problem myself.

                  There has to be a reason why it screws up on certain computers. I've downloaded the trial version of this on three different computers to test this and every one of them has the actor tab problem.

                  EDIT: Not sure if a fix has been posted, but bluemoogle at GameFAQs found a way to fix this:

                  7. Open up RMXP and everything should be sized correctly!
