Really cool movie. Came out in Japan on DVD, or something, so naturally it was rabidly fansubbed in about 2 days, followed by my buddy hooking me up with it.
Even if you never played FF7, You should watch it just for the fight scenes. Most of the fights seem to take place in the air, with the people fighting hardly ever touching the ground. Extremely over the top action in every fight.
Alot of things didnt make sense to me, and I was left wanting a **** load more when the credits started rolling. Id compare it to Halo2's ending, not so much that it was a cliffhanger, but that lots of things were left unexplained.
Tifa was a total babe, as expected. Cloud really looked like a jpop singer, and the only people in the entire movie that didnt look asian were Barret, Cid and Rude. The other thing that bugged me was that everybodys faces were "perfect". Smooth skin, no wrinkles, freckles or anything, which really made them seem not human. Spirits Within did a better job with the facial features.
Id like to about a bunch of the crazy stuff that happened in the movie, but Im probably the only person here whos watched it, and Id end up spoiling everything.
SO GO WATCH IT!
