    As far as I know the only person who hates Omni is me. It's just one of those things where two people have an instant and irrational dislike for one another. I don't apologize for it but I do acknowledge that it's irrational and has no reason. It's not like he ever did anything to me. (CWS)

    And on a second note was there something that Bonanza did before jacking Ixzion's account? Valk said that it would be the same as if he Hijacked someone's account at the Mag, but first the Mag would have had to ridicule him at every oppurtunity. It just seems a little petty. (And yes I realize it's the same with me and Omni. I admit it.)

    It just seems like the pavilion has always been weird on who we're not supposed to like and not like. Jester makes innane statements all the time but nobody ever has accused him of spam. SirTMagus didn't post anything other than pictures for the first few days he was here. Nobody every said he should go. But Bonanza has a 50cent avatar and it seems like the entire pavilion brands him untouchable. I didn't really find him all that interesting myself but at least he wasn't Yeaster.

    When I first got here Smurtle was He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named. Yet it seems like everyone pretty much thinks he's an okay guy. Samwise is lifetime banned but if you talk to Alzar he should have been posting in the playground with everyone else. And since I had the chance to be in the playground but the people there made a concious decision to say, "IRC? Not so much." That kinda boggles the mind, at least it does mine. Is how long you've been here really that important? Does the fact that you were here before you had to register mean that you're infalliable?

    I bet School Bus could come to the Pavicon, get wasted, and **** in the middle of the floor and everyone would just go,"Oh School Bus, crazy ass School Bus" and you would all laugh.

    Now, there are things about stuff that I don't know about. Maybe Samwise is a dick and only Alzar liked him. Maybe Smurtle's banning was unfair and he should be be welcomed back. Maybe Bonanza did something so bad that people don't want to talk about it and I missed it. Maybe I'm just an asshole because I don't want to deal with someone taking their internet-girlfriend breakup badly.


    For the record, I'm not complaining, or looking to debate anyone on this, or trying to rablerouse anything. I'm not crusading for Bonanza to be let back in. I didn't really know the guy enough to. Basically as much as it hurts me to say it, I'm not trying to be IRC about this as most of you would say. I'm just curious. Think of it as blogging. Ignore it. Read it. Lock it. Delete it. Just please don't give me a bad rep for this. Using valk's system of reputation or your own.

    So, basically, you don't know exactly why you hate Omni, you just do, and yet you acknowledge that it's irrational. Is that about right?

      There are a few specific reasons. But not one good one. I think its best if I just don't talk about it anymore than I have. I wouldn't want anyone to make a topic about all the reasons they hate IRC. And I'll admit that at first I saw Valk's quote as an invitation to make a big topic about how much I don't like Omni. But then I decided not to, and to just sort of explain myself a bit. I'm not saying that I should be canonized for this topic. Or that Omni should take it as some grand gesture of peace. It's just how I stand on him, and Bonanza, and a few of the other "pavilion outcasts".

      Man, I can't wait for someone to tell me how I'm wasting precious bandwidth for this. Hopefully it will be Ryner.

        as you can see, smurtle was unbanned long ago. he's even here now (he was opeo at first)

        samwise was okay, but he got into the forums and deleted my account as some sort of prank gone horribly wrong. thats the only reason he was banned.

        Yeaster is fine now (he's still here, just doesnt post much) he just had this period of a few months where he went completely insane and turned into a super-ghetto black stereotype in the debate forum.

        as for bonanza, he just has this air around him that screams "hate me" and you just have to listen to it, or you end up getting depressed.

            I think the Pavilion's scale of coolness is pretty hard to define. You have to have the right balance of niceness, meanness, humor, seriousness, intelligence and stupidity. I'm sure there are other factors that I can't think of right now.

            See, we have someone like Ryner. He's pretty popular around here, but some people don't like him because he's too far over on the mean scale. The other factors, I guess he's got down.

            Then we have someone like Staffmaster. I don't really know the guy, but it seems like he doesn't know how to balance the scales. He acts overtly serious at the wrong times, then he tries to compensate by being funny -- but that ends up being at the wrong time too.

            Alright, that's it for half-baked theories from me.

                Could somebody tell me what Nash did? I posted this in another forum but I was ignored.

                After being here for a month or so, I see how things work. I was a noob and posted mulitple forums on the same thing. I double posted and did stupid things like that. Then I made the mistake of talking about piracy which I got bad rep for. Now that I know the rules, I dont think I **** people off as much. If anyone wants to correct me on this, feel free.

                  Yeah, at first I thought you were an asshole but now I like you.

                  And Nash was bashing gay people and pretty much trying to force what he thought onto everybody, and threatening and flaming those who disagreed.
