RPG spoof Character ideas what you think?

Well when 16th comes around I'm going to my hands on the program and start making a rpg spoof. It's going to include cliche type characters and storyline at the same time making fun of its own cliche. I already have story down I was wondering what you guys think of the characters I want to create.

    Name: Leet

    Gender: Male

Job: Red Mage (Mix between Healer, magic attacker and sword user)

Personality: Constantly works on to achieve an optimal ballance of stats, skills weapons and equipment. He seems to know the world around him is a game unlike most of the characters and seems only capable of talking in 1337 speak. He often criticize other members of the team when they don't do something right in cutscenes or when other members join the party who don't match his opnion on best race/gender/job combination.

    Name: Sharon

    Gender: Female

Job: Warrior (She gets made fun of by Leet because she is a female human warrior saying that female have lower Str base then males)

Peronality: Sharon recognize the world around her and seem strange, and often question the believability of the game. Such why can't they just climb over the fallen tree when the exit to the woods is only 2 feet away or why do towns people doesn't seem to mind people taking their money and items from drawers, toaster etc while the npc are in their homes. She also questions the logic of side quest.

    Tika:

    Gender: Female

    Job: Black Mage

Peronality: Although highly knowledgable in the arts of black magic, she consider herself a scientist, and doesn't believe the religion the game sets even though they meet different gods time again. Although Sharon often questions the techno jargon that spill out of Tika's mouth in the game's world it seems to be correct no matter how improbable it seems.

Name: Still trying to think of a name

Gender: Male (Although looks like a female)

    Job: Warrior

Peronality: Origanly a villian in the game who launch an attack on the hero's kingdom with an army all because when he was a boy the king's wagon ran over his pet dog. Which in his mind justified the countless people who died in the war. Although he defeats the group several times and used several over powered moves, he seems to have "forgoten" how to use them.

Of course Sharon questions the villian sudden wanting to join the group and why he is unable to use the over power moves he was capable in the past. Leet attempts to explain that is the developer felt that it would make the game too easy and unenjoyable. Of course Tika gives a scitentfic explantion that doesn't make sense.

Don't worry, you won't be the first to make fun of RPGs.
*thinks of 8-bit theater and RPG World*

But that's okay, 'cause RPG spoofs are fun. I'm gonna do one myself.

But don't do the Leet speak. Yeah, I know his name represents how he talks, but seriously, that kind of speak is annoying. It's as bad as the "Wazzup" thing with your tongue.

I want to play it, as long as you don't make him speak in that foreign language I couldn't understand. You might as well make him speak by clicking his tongue in different patterns. I love the rest though, so please do make it even if you don't specifically cater to my interests (1337?).

Sounds exactly like you mixed 8bit with Rpg World. And it seems like you picked the most cliched of the cliches to make fun of. Of course it really doesn't matter if you're able to work them into the game properly. But it looks like you're just going to use them blatantly and the fact that they are blatant is supposed to make them funny and it doesn't.

Take your Red Mage for instance. Just having him speak Leet isn't going to work. You can't just have him say, "I will haxxor you" or have him always say "pwned" after battles. But if you use the leet as a gag, say the heroes encounter a village of midgets(12 year olds) and they speak leet(like when you first show up they all call you a *** adn tell you to suck their dicks) and your red mage speaks leet to them (OMG STFU Noob) and then you have to fight a group of the villagers for them to respect you and help you in your quest(WTF? We got owned!).

See what I mean? I don't mean to be a kill joy because I believe that most games sound like crap on paper, but at the same time this would be hard to pull off to where it doesn't sound like a ****ty sprite comic. My first reaction to your post is why not just go ahead and include Megaman.
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

I think this is why lots of people've said they were going to make an rpg poking fun at rpg cliches over the years, but to my knowledge none have finished. I will say that it is more fun making funny stuff in your game (for you, the creator), but the game will start to bore the player without a driving force to the game - like... story has characters open up and player bonds with them, then wants them to succeed; or story has lots of unknowns and player wants to figure out what's going on; etc. This is why I always do a mix of both seriousness and comedy, which I think in the end produces a more entertaining and enjoyable game. I don't mean to discourage you from making your game, just to add my two cents on the matter.

Because he hates time travel. And a fantasy game is pretty far into the past.

Although come to think of it, Megaman in a fantasy RPG? I could see some laughs coming out of that.

For your information, it's George who dislikes time travel.

Hmm yea I guess I should've waited a week before posting it. Although I want to keep him and have him in as 1337 speaker, however I'll likely shoot myself typing 1337 for every time he talks. So I think I'll decide to take the easy road out and use that card thing in FFX where they magicaly translated Al bed language except that there is only one card it's not hard to fine.

I believe everyone in that comic hates time travel, I seriously doubt Mega Man will show up if he does my game edited after uploading it.

What you was trying to say that everything sounded random kinda like bob and george. I would have to work to pull off my rpg.
