With all of the new info coming out, will you be able to make your adventure?

    With all of the new info coming out, will you be able to make your adventure?

    I am seeing some things that will alter my plan, but I definately intend to make Sundered Chronicles. Some characters will have to change, as well as certain ideas I had, but I'm taking this in a positive way. I will still be able to tell a story, that I hope is interesting to a lot of people.

    Has the recent info from Valk, and Ixzion made you change your mind about making an adventure for RPGM3? Or, are you still excited about using RPGM3 to create it?

    I'm MORE excited about RPGM3 than I was before I had it in my hands. I love the way everything flows so naturally, and with very little effort. the only thing that annoyed me is that it took me a few minutes to realize the triangle button is the run button. the normal walk speed is pathetic. always run.

      I was going to make my game regardless and change it to match whatever I needed.

      In fact, with the info on the weather effects, I plan on possibly making a time traveling game where you conduct an investigation by warping in time between seasons or something.

      So far, the only thing I dislike is the generic name GOLD that must be seen in every game unless someone makes a custom currency system.

        sorry to get off topic but is it possible to change the run button from triangle to somthing else? cause that seems like the oddest button to use.....

          Yeah, and is there a customizable button like SQUARE from RPGM2? Oh, and another question... do the shops have to be default, or can you alter them in some way? I want to do a system like you are haggling, or perhaps a Trade Shop from RPGM1.

            Yeah the Trade Shops were really useful in RPGM1 I might be able to make my long time game.
            There is one thing that pretty much disturbes me in an SRPG....

              Well, when I was planning to do my Dagger Ninjas game on RPGM3 the limitations would of altered my plans a lot, but since I heard about XP coming out, I moved that game over there.

              I am planning a game for RPGM3, But I havent done much work on it yet as I want to know the limitations first, and then when I make the game I will work around the limitations.

                RPGM3, regardless of how limiting it is, will be the new platform used to make the Omegablade Saga.

                As for XP, I have a friend that got the hacked version who seems to like it. I played around with it a little, and am definitely buying it on the 16th or 17th. It'll be perfect for any situation where RPGM3's limits are simply too restricting.

                    I only plan on making one game in RPG Maker 3, it's too limited to make any other games I plan on making.

                        RPGM3 has the gritty medieval realism I needed for this one game idea I have. Unfortunately, without a demon that can be shown outside of the Fire Emblem cutscenes, and able to shoot energy balls or something and destroys stuff in a spectacular fashion, I won't be able to create it on there. In which case, I have NOTHING planned for RPGM3.

                            I want to see someone use the mythical beast for something grand. its like a kangaroo with a rabbit head, and one of it's color patterns is that of a giraffe.

                              Final boss for me Valk. Imagine, playing for 30 hours against large killer dragons, only to have that thing standing in your way!
