    "New" Futurama DvD

Awhile back, there was a small tidbit from fox revealing that Futurama may have a direct to dvd release very soon.

Well, i stumbled upon this thing at my local Walmart.

Hmmm... I still need to plunk down all the money for the regular DVDs... I have all the episodes on VHS, but I'd really like to hear the commentary.

I'm disappointed that there are only four episodes on this "greatest hits-esque" DVD. I should hope that the first Nixon-heavy episode would be one of Matt's favorites, but maybe that's wishful thinking...

If i remember right, its the Anthology of intrest one and two, Roswell that ends well, ,and the Devils hands are idle play things.

How did you get all the Futurama episodes on tape? Theres 3 episodes FOX has never aired. (that i know of)

And the commentaries on the Dvds are hilarious.

I taped every possible episode off FOX. So yeah, I'm missing any ones that weren't aired (I thought I had gotten them all).

Remember when they first aired the Xmas story? It was delayed and they shoved a really weird disclaimer on before they showed it. Funny stuff.

They talked about that in the documentary. I've the entire series on DVD.

Yeah, this is not the direct to DVD release they were talking about. I'm pretty sure.

Yeah, I don't think the two are connected, since they wouldn't need to "greenlight" a collection of episodes they've already released.

And Family Guy had a direct to video movie?

                    eh?

The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

I have all four volumes of Futurama, so I don't need this. Can't wait for the direct-to-DVD movie, though.
