would it be possible to create a first-person shooter game with RPG Maker 2? tetris can be made, zelda, and any number of well conceived RPG games, but i would like to see a FPS game now!

Most definitly, but it wouldnt be worth it, since you can see only see 16 spaces ahead of yourself. -

I think a first person dungeon crawler (like king's field) would be easiest, because then you can design the areas in such a way that the 16 block problem is never noticed, as long as you stick to the KF tradition of the areas being really dark, and having the background to the areas be black, rather than the standard blue.Last edited by Valkysas; 09-05-2005, 03:33 PM.

I've been making one since fall last year. It's more survival horror though, so I put in fog and it fits well into the theme.
