    RPGMXP Sample Video

    Enterbrain has updated their website with a sample video of rpgxp which is a good taste (albeit VERY corny) of what to expect for those that don't own the Jap release or downloaded the demo. It also confirms our beliefs that Enterbrain has indeed TRANSLATED the demo games which is good because the demo games were awesome (especially the completely 100% custom Shishimura) even if they were in a foreign language. Man, 2 weeks seems so far away.

    they translated the sample games! hell yes! man, I can't believe XP and all the sample games are only costing 60 dollars. thats one hell of a deal, considering all the extra graphics and scripts that come with those. It just goes to show how serious enterbrain is about the US PC RPG Maker market.

      Yea seriously, I would pay for the sample games alone. I really hope the pirating dies down (and I have noticed a lot of pirating websites taking down their versions) because all of that bull people made about Enterbrain not caring about western customers JUST GOT SHOT DOWN.

      2 WEEKS ARGH!

      p.s. Check out the really, really corny looking Star Wars spoof game. I MUST PLAY THAT!

        I'm not sure they shouted "RPG MAKER XP" enough.

        it's funny, no "l"s were pronounced in the entire video, all said as "w" or "r".

        ah, engrish.

          Im curious about 1 thing on xp. Will group projects be easier to do? can you share scripts as files and add them later? RPGM2 group projects are so hard to do, do to the fact that all poeple cant work on the same thing at once. Will XP be better for this kind of thing? Cuz me and Solidus have the best Idea ever.

            Yea, each piece of the database is an individual file so one person could make maps while another makes scripts and such.

                        Definitely buying the english version. I have the jp version, and even with the english patch there was still a lot that wasn't translated so it was hard to figure the whole thing out. But i am happy i can use my own images rather than samples.

                            there's no football man... unless its something from the Battle Network games that I ignore.

                              Yea it was in one of the battle network games which killed my love for megaman (the X series after 3 didn't help either). Seriously, where's Megaman Legends III?!?
