    Artists Unite for New Orleans

    In light of the recent devastation to New Orleans, I racked my brain on how I could possibly raise money to aid those in need.

    The only useful skill I have is drawing, so I've come up with this idea:

    I will draw a picture for you, if you will donate 5 dollars to the Salvation Army to aid New Orleans. (The Red Cross will waste most of the money) That's one picture, for every five dollars you donate. I can't promise they'll be top notch, but I'll do what I can, so that I may serve those in need.

    Tell your friends, family, and I will draw till my arm explodes.

    You can e-mail me at: teh_coonie@yahoo.com or comment on this entry, and tell me how much you'll be donating.

    (I hope other Pavvy Artists will unite and participate in this.)

    Edit: If any Pavilionite can set up some sort of paypal account for this, it'd be greatly appreciated.

    That's pretty swell of you, Caciss. Maybe once I'm settled at my dorm and I have, for the most part, free access to my debit card, I'll commission you.

          srsly though, I would do this if I could get my Paypal working. It's up in the air. This is for sure a neat idea, and it would be swell if it worked out.

            I hope it works out too.

            I already have some kids from school pledging up to 10 dollars. And, I'm gonna sit outside school with a sign, and draw for people.

                I'm trying to find someone who can set up a paypal account for this, since I personally don't have one.

                Or, you could donate the money yourself locally. And, I'll scan you a picture!

                  I would be able to paypal you the money eventually (if you get an account), or I could just send you a money order. I want a real drawing on a real sheet of paper. That's all I ask. Doesn't need to be in anything other than pencil or ink. The size and subject matter of the drawing is up to you. I'll send you $10.00 or more. Let me know if this is alright with you.
