House of the Dead was one and Alone in the Dark was more sci-fi/action thriller, BloodRayne is a vampire movie, kind of an epic vampire movie, and to do something else more fantasy epic, I thought it would be quite interesting. A lot of people are making the mistake to say these video game based movies are all horror, but it's bull**** because in the video games you have the same kinds of genres like in all other movies, so you can't say that all video game movies are all kind of horrors.

    Here's the thing. I'm not really happy with it, and I think if you compare Alone in the Dark with some action or sci-fi movies made, I don't see that this movie is less quality as Aliens vs. Predator, for example.

        Uwe Boll is worse, actually. At least Anderson only did like 3 game movies, whereas Uwe Boll still has about 4 more that he has yet to begin production on.

              Yeah, I actually did enjoy Event Horizon. I just think the commentary on HoTD is so priceless. It's just whenever someone mentions the RE films a distinct rage comes over me...I forgot Anderson made the first (very enjoyable) MK movie.

                I liked the first RE movie. Not the best, but way better than Apocalypse. I don't see how my friend considers Apocalypse the greatest zombie movie ever made.

                  Because Apocalypse is an over-the-top joyride that makes no sense, and whenever Sienna Guillory is on the screen the movie ACTUALLY RESEMBLES what a REAL Resident Evil movie SHOULD BE LIKE.

                  And the first MK movie had Christopher Lambert. CHRISTOPHER LAMBERT!!!!!11

                            Why do people give him money? Seriously? I want to know what kind of crazy half english **** he tells investors to make them forget he makes horrible horrible films.

                            After reading the somethingawful.com feature where the original writer of Alone in The Dark talked about him, and the original script(which sounded like it would have been a good movie) I can't stand this dip****.
