camera options in RPG maker 3?

hello, I'm new here. I stumbled across this site a few days ago when I was looking for info on RPG maker 3.

I have a question that I havent seen asked (plz forgive me if I missed it somewhere). if it has been asked before could someone please point me to the topic?

ok the question is: what kind of camera options will there be in rpg maker 3? will I be able to make very cinimatic scenes with a wide range of camera options during my cut scenes?

can I have a swooping camera give a visual tour of new areas if I want?

I would think that there would be at least some options here that I could work with. but RPG maker 1 lacked some features that I thought would have been one of the first things they thought to add.

so if anyone knows the answer, please spare a moment to post.

if this is the wrong forum I apologize.

    thanks

Well, although intro played it at e3, most of us know as much about RPG Maker 3 as you do. Just wait for opening day, it's not too far off.

Your the first one who has asked about camera angles. I never thought about the camera angles at all, so this is a good question.

Now as for an answer, I'm not sure and I don't think anybody really is. I've seen two things. One is that all the cutscenes are just in Fire Emblem like dialogue. If you dont know what Fire Emblem is, I'm pretty sure you've seen at least one clip of the game and have seen a animated picture of a character above a dialogue box. But looking at the game previews, there is this one shot where they do a swoop-dive camera view of a town, but I have no idea.

I'm pretty sure the FE-style is optional. I know I've seen screens where they were talking with townspeople in a traditional way.
"What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."

yes I've seen that and if u'r capable of doing that in the program then I'm all set. . . But theres always the possibility that that camera sweep was made by the designers and you can't actually do that in game... thats why I asked the question here. I was hoping someone (like intro1. or someone who owns a japanese version) could tell me for sure.

either way I'd get the game. but being able to highly customize the cameras would be a dream come true.

Now all I need is a list of the characters/monsters

*sigh* why does 20 days feel so long all of a sudden.
