Played Broadsword TFT?

I have been working on this for over a Year (Mostly on the battle system)
So if I could get some feedback, that would be great.

Tried to download your demo but everytime i go to unzip it i get an error. downloaded it several times. downloaded another demo and it unzips fine. not sure whats wrong. sorry

Yes i am but i can't even unzip (not uncrush) it to put it on my max drive.

Hmm.
Well, I uploaded a new file of my Demo that should work.
So, as soon as it is updated by the Pavilion people, the demo should work.

Played through one time and it was good. Your battle system was really cool and fun. I only found 3 combos not sure if there are more? One combo didn't work, the X X X X it does the graphic but doesn't give it a name and doesn't do anymore damage than normal.

Did you want me to list some errors I found? cause there are a few and You might want to put a password on your game cause right now there isn't one. I didn't really mess with anything anyway. (at least not yet) he he.

The XXXX Combo is still in the working stages,
So that is why it is doing crap damage.
Later it will become Hero's first limit brake and do extra damage.

I think there are 4 combos in this version, Bum rush /\ /\ /\ /\ ,
Light Strike X [] /\ O, Spin attack X /\ [] [], and the unnamed XXXX.

If you can think of a good name for the XXXX combo, Pleas let me know.

And yes, tell me about all the thing that did not work or annoyed you and I will do my best to fix them for the next version.

Ok first off you should put a password on your game...well i guess you don't have to but then eveyone can steal all your good ideas.

1. when you first wake up and the blue grim reaper kid fights you i clicked on skills saw the one skill and then hit cancel and for some reason that did damage to the kid and he died. so um.. i am not sure what thats about.

2. I didn't even talk to the mayor but i could leave town and go to the castle and the story goes on. then i came back and talked to the mayor after i got the demo over message and had that whole cutscene. you should make it so you can't leave town without talking to the mayor. or at least you can't get to the castle.

3. when your talking to the mayor he say "cum" this way....I hope you ment come.

4. I don't remember were but some of your text has one letter of a word on one line and the rest of the word on another line. This happens to me sometimes you have to mess with the spacing.

5. your dialogue leaves something to be desired (but i can't write good dialogue either) sometimes its funny most of the time it's silly.

6. when you get done with the boss fight in the well and come back up the stairs the camera angle won't change. it re set after the very next random battle i got into but just thought you might want to fix it. This happens again after you go in to the castle and try and fight the female guard.

7. there is a constant dripping sound after you leave the well.

Thats all i can think of off the top of my head. I still need to play throu a second time. I wanted to go to the forest and get the other party members. I kind of like your town most people put theres on a outside map but you made yours into dungeon sections, which was kind of cool, all the textures and stuff. Your battle system was really cool like i said. I can't really think of a good name for the X X X X combo, it looks cool though. maybe "double" something cause at the end he uses two big swords. I want to play through and try all the mean choises cause i usually did the nice ones. I am not sure where the story was going though but it was fun. hope this helps you out.

Hi people.
I have noticed that some people have tryed to down load my Demo.
That's great, but the file that was loaded to the RPG maker 2 demo section, on the main page, doesn't work. Sorry
But hope is not lost. I subbmitted a new file a while back and I have info that it works. It is located in the submissions Topic under RPG Maker 2 demos.
I apologies for the messed up file.

Yeah, wow... awesome battle system, funny scenes, bad spelling here and there. (pease spose to be peace for example)

May I suggest going back and re editting the conversations that the people say, and make the dialogue a little more understandable? Not that it was overly bad, I just thought it'd help.

other than that, very nice game with what I dub on the toppest VFX use in RPGM2 history, and yeah, not many can make a custom battle system, so good work

I apologize for the Crap spelling (I have the spelling capacity of a retarded two year old) I will try to get to editing it. I hope it wasn't too bad.

Anyway, I am going to try to get a new Version of my demo up within this month. It should introduse the two other party members and have the second dungeon plus contain more Combos, Items, and Skills.
