The RPG Maker Pavilion has always been on the top with innovation in the console RPG Maker community. not only were we the first console RPG Maker site, we were also the first to offer every game it's own forum, and most recently we were the first to have a system that allowed the users to upload their games directly to the site, completely bypassing the bothersome e-mail submission method that every console RPG Maker site used to use. However, in addition to the new ideas that the pavilion staff comes up with, I'd love to hear ideas from our members too. if you have an idea that you think will make the pavilion a better place, lets hear it. it doesnt have to be anything major either. if there's any way I can improve the pavilion, I want to hear it.

But first, I'll get a few things out of the way that are coming soon, so no one bothers to request things already in the pipeline:
1 Game Directory will no longer open the game information and downloads in a forum window, instead they will be one with the site.
2 Screenshots are already taken of the RPG Maker 1 games and demos, but cannot be added until the above change is made.
3 Imaginari forum is getting a drawing board soon
4 A Pavilion Convention is in the early stages of planning.

Also, if you have any questions for the staff about the pavilion go ahead and ask, and I promise they'll get answered.

yup. we'd also have a ton of TVs and PS2s set up to showcase games.

If it happens, it won't be until 2007 at the earliest.

Sweet. Legend of the Palehorse should be done by then at the very least, and maybe I might have screens of the PC version of Police State...

I will make one recommendation:

Email all the oldies that left and see if they might return.

I would.

the only thing hard about planning such a convention is picking a location and date that would work out for people. I guess that it would come down to finding out who all is interested in attending it, and then seeing what states they live in and basing it off that. Main thing though, I wouldnt even consider holding it if kire couldnt make it.

yeah, having it in or near Chicago might be a good thing. It is in the northern center of the country practically, and most could fly or take a train, and for a few of you, you could drive.

You'll be 18 in 2007, right, Caciss? By then you'll probably be up for a road trip!

I'm all for attending a convention, and I agree w/ TC, the closer we get to holding it at a central point the better. I'm in the very middle of Montana, so as long as we're not looking at places like Hawaii, Florida, or Alaska I'll probably be able to make it (Watches as Valk decides on Anchorage, Honolulu, or Miami as the possible locations).

Plus, as long as people have a few month's warning there shouldn't be any trouble for most of us to schedule around it. The only people who are going to have a tough time getting there are our really young members (Ones that won't be out of High School yet).

Will it be possible to add screens of the various RPGM2 games and demos made? I know it may not be practical for you personally to gather them all, but the ones people take and submit, will you be adding them?

Near or in Chicago is GREAT, but I might be biased because it's not terribly far from where I live.
