    First Reality

I'm making a game with my friend called First Reality. If you don't get it, think Final Fantasy, and then apply the antonyms. Tee hee.

Our story is really medieval in a sense that there are kingdoms, how cliche, and a church. The church, just like in medieval times, is repressing the people who quest for knowledge, and telling them that they will suffer in life, and be happy in the afterlife, just like what they did in real life! The church is very high with power, and so with that, they manipulate a war between kingdoms. People are sick of fighting wars for a noble's affairs, so the church comes in and provides as a humanitarian effort to help the suffering people. For instance, the kingdom's are repressing the people, and they are suffering, so the church comes in and helps them by giving them food and shelter. So our heroes arise from a small village, and there are more plot twists as you play the game, but I dont feel like typing the whole story.

But does this game either sound cliche, or a lot like Final Fantasy Tactics, I expect feedback.

It's tough to say really since we don't know much about the game. For instance, how does the game begin and what scenes ensue and how does the story progress. What you have a decent start but there's still a lot of uncertainty as to whether the game will be too cliche or not. I'm not really a fan of the title unless it represents the(a) main theme/message of the game. The only way I could see it connecting to a theme/message now is if the characters end up losing and dying (no matter what the player does) and the player gets the message that you can't win on your own no matter how you try and the best thing to do is hide from society and so-to-say 'live on your knees' instead of 'die on your feet' ('reality'), which would be a very good end and message in my opinion (even though it disappoints the player).

Our, "moral" of the story is that justice isn't always served, and yes, we are in tact with reality in a sense that character's do die. Even character's that join your party, much like Legend of Dragoon and Final Fantasy 7. Our story is pretty deep, but I think after reviewing it, it might need a little revision.
