Scripting Problems

Anyone who owns and knows some advanced things on RPG Maker VX, please tell me some. I need help on scripting Side-View battles, Tech Assistance Skills, and maybe even showing the name of the place you are in without getting interupted by an event. Please reply.

If you're not going to do the work, no one else is going to do it for you. I know for a fact that these things exist and can be found by Googling.

There are tons of Side-View battle systems (Charlie Fleed's CBS looks like a good one but it's probably too complicated for you).

There's a utility for showing the location you're in in Blizz's "Tons of Add-Ons" script.

I don't know what you mean by "Tech Assistance Skills" but again I recommend you spend a few hours searching for it.

I'm going to repost what Ryner said in the RPGMXP forums a while back.

I understand you want to make a shooting game, or a Final Fantasy Tactics kind of game. Really I do. But do you people honestly think you can be taught how to rewrite the entire combat system in a single post? You really cant be told how to do something like that, you need to do it yourself through scripting knowledge.

If you don't have that kind of knowledge, either:

A) Learn it.

or

B) Find a system that's already been made and download it.

You wont find either A or B here, so quit asking. I suggest rmxp.org for that kind of thing.

If you need help with minor problems, or want advice on your XP game, then by all means ask us. Just stop thinking we can inject incredibly complicated scripting knowledge into your brain with the snap of a finger.
