Logitech netplay controller! I love that thing.

The way to share games with the PS2 RPG Makers is the Max Drive. You can see how it works here.

For RPG Maker 1 games, you'll need a rather ancient device called a Dex Drive. I'm working on putting a page up for that this weekend that shows people how to use it on modern computers. The Dex Drive connects via a 9-pin serial port, and if you don't have one of those on your computer, you can get a USB adapter.

The Max Drive will be expensive, the Dex Drive will not. I've seen them go for 10 dollars.

    Welcome to the Pavilion!

You don't need a netplay controller, they're just nice for having a keyboard and controller in one. Just about any USB keyboard will work with the PS2, so most people just go with the cheapest one they can find.

This one would would work, but it's expensive. There was a cheaper one that came with a 16mb flash drive, but that's been discontinued. You may be able to find it on ebay.

You may want to use the "contact us" link on that site (near the bottom) and ask them what products of theirs will work, since some action replay software has the max drive function built in, but just don't come with a flash drive. and some that come with flash drives don't let you use it to move saves onto a memory card. It's a big confusing mess, really.

Just make sure when ordering a max drive that you're getting the US/NTSC version, since there's also a PAL version that won't work on US systems.
