    RPG Maker 2 on PS3

    Is there a way to install RPG Maker 2 on my PS3 system?

    I wanted to try one of the games created by another user, but I can't seem to get it to work. I went through the steps and saved the game file to an internal memory card on my PS3, but I have no way of playing it because I do not have RPG Maker 2 on my PS3 system...

    Any help on this would greatly appreciated!

    If you got the game to an internal memory card on your PS3, and your PS3 doesn't play PS2 games, the next thing you'll need to do is get a memory card adapter for it. They're fairly cheap (I remember mine being $15), and it'll let you move the save file from the internal memory card to an actual memory card. It's cheaper than going with a max drive, and likely a lot easier to find too.

      RPGMaker 1,2, and 3 games saves cannot be played without the corrisponding game disk, and compatible console. Assuming your PS3 IS PS2 Compatible, youll need an RPG Maker 2 Disk.

      Valks suggesting that if your PS3 is not compatible, you will have to play your RPGM2 Save on a good old PS2 with a PS2 mem card, AND an RPGM2 disk.

      however you will need a special adapter to get the file from your PS3 to a PS2 mem card.

      This is handy for moving files back and forth from PS3 to Ps2 OR Ps1 Mem cards.

          yeah, I have a Slim. It plays PS1 but it doesn't play PS2. I don't mind playing on the PS2, just didn't know how to get the save files to my PS2. I will just get an adapter. Thanks for the links Alutra!

              Thanks again, Alutra, for the links you suggested. I ordered an adaptor from Amazon.com for like $10 (not so bad I guess). It should be here within a day a so!
