Were you inspired by Jak and Daxter, perchance?

        wow~

        you made this?!

        i want to work with 3D too~~

if i ask you to make a simple human figure for certain pose. can you do it? like put all the shadow and stuff...

recently i want a doll or some 3D program that can show me the action pose, so, i can look and draw it... i think it will be a big help.

Reminds me of Warcraft 3. Not to shabby.
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

Haruko, I was just reading about this today, and I think this would fit your needs...

            Poser.
            Poser stuff.

I studied the art of Tak and W.o.W. for that project.

That is quite a bit of work, because it would require modeling, skinning, rigging, lighting, and rendering. I would recommend this.

If you aim me sometime, I might be of further help, as I have a folder of human anatomy you might enjoy.

This is was a project me and buddy did to learn how to hand paint all textures, and the ultimate goal was to take the unreal engine and make something look, not unreal? (every unreal mod on earth with the exception of a few, looks like unreal from a designers perspective.)

I thought we did a decent job, with the exception of the terrain.

(main character and 1st level enemy)

I have more crap from my demo reel, I'll post up later. Eventually the demo reel will come for a few who have asked.

Feels like a mixture between Nightmare before christmas and Oddworld.

So are these shots from a game or what?

                  Re: demo reel screenshots

Well in a sense I guess, it's our game. We've created everything from the ground up, and used unreals stock animations.

We designed it and made it as a school project, does that answer your question?

Kinda. What I want is to know if you could post a video of this in action or something. So what I'm trying to get at is do you have the game working yet?

                      Re: demo reel screenshots

Aye, yes we do. It's in the demo reel.

No actual gameplay footage was recorded because, it hasn't been needed thus far.

But, the enemies have simple AI and can be interacted with. Zoe is playable and she animated very well.

                        I am very, very impressed.

You're working wonders with the Unreal Engine.

Are you using Max or Maya? And are all the effects sprites and the grass and tree leaves textures with alpha?
