Yeah, Super Smash Bros. Melee. Who here still plays this game? I am rocking with adult Link, and can beat just about anyone. Can't beat all the events though. Only up to Lv. 51...

Re: SSBM
Ness has always been my favorite, but they certainly weakened him a bit in SSBM. Ness is GREAT against the hands, because he has fluid motion and can take to the air easily. Another character I like using is Fox, although he is rather cheap. He makes one of the harder events a cakewalk, as long as you aren't worried about getting a good time.
And Jigglypuff's Rest = death. She is the best character for the last event.Last edited by Funk; 08-20-2005, 01:53 AM.Lil' Bean is here!

Re: SSBM
I still play, I rule with Samus and Sheik and have a pretty good Gannondorf.. My friend sean seriously owns everyone with Jigglypuff(and he never uses the one hit kill). He also has a really good Marth.
It's crazy how deep the game becomes when you really learn the art of dodging, shield grabbing, wave smashing, etc etc."At first it just looked like a picture of a bunch of lily pads, but then I started scraping at it with my pocket knife and the whole painting just sort of spoke to me," Schmidt said. "For the first time, I finally understand what Monet was trying to get across in her work."

Re: SSBM
I'm not a big fan either. Every time I go to a friend's house that has the game, I make a point to play it for a while, and try to enjoy it. But I just can't get into it. I'm a big fighting game fan, and I play SSB:M because people say it's totally the best fighting game, but when I play a few games of it I can't help feeling that I'd rather be on my Dreamcast playing Street Fighter or Marvel vs. Capcom, or playing Tekken 3 and Soul Calibur 2 on my PS2. The fact that several of the characters are really cheap, while others are overpowered is enough to make the game less fun. But combined with the extremely limited moveset and the buttloads of annoying as hell glitches (many of which you need to learn how to exploit in order to become good at the game), the game isn't my gosh darn cup of tea.
